Tsavo East, one of the largest National Parks, hosts an incredibly wide range of Flora and Fauna. Tsavo offers many sites, such as the breath taking rapids of "Lugard Falls" and the miles of untouched landscapes and wildlife one can see from the top of "Mudanda Rock". The most wonderful sunset can be encounterd in this Park! Rock along the "Yatta Plateau" and on the banks of the "Galana River". The Camp was named after this Rock that in Waliangulu means "the man with a hat".

Our Camp shaded by Tsavo's famous Doum palms and other indigenous trees comprises of 20 tents with a capacity of 40 people. The tents are covered with Makuti roofs. On your verandah you can enjoy the shade after a game drive! Our camp resembles the hunting camps in the old East African tradition. At lunch time you can enjoy by the river a wonderful buffet "al fresco" and in the evenings under the stars you can taste our hors d'oeuvres cooked in an old hunting oven made out of termite hills and clay. Then, a delicious meal is served in our dining tent. Our cooks are specialized in traditional Italian cuisine taught to them personally by us.

At night it is very likely to see elephants crossing or feeding in the camp! From the Big Five to the tiny Dik Dik we have it all right around the camp!
In order to cater for the needs of our customers, the tents are well equipped with built in bathrooms (showers, wash basin, flush toilets, running hot and cold water) and electric lighting.
The Camp is also Eco-friendly so as not to harm the wonderful environment that is hosting us.
